Location: My backyard in Ridgecrest, CA (Mojave Desert), 2600 ft. elevation, population 30,000 Date: 7/18//05 Comments: First attempt to use the modified UTA with the Pyxis field de-rotator and TCF-S auto-focuser behind the camera. Very poor conditions, winds approximately 7 mph, about a 3/4 moon, and temperature at 90 degrees F at 2AM. The ST-10XME would only cool to -2 degrees C. |
