Side view of UTA (without camera). The UTA is designed for holding the camera setup to look directly into the 25" Galaxy Optics Mirror.   The central support was made from an 8.5" piece of scrap PVC, and the whole assembly is attached to the 1.5" aluminum tubes with hose clamps!   Rough focusing is just a matter of loosening the hose clamps. Fine focusing is accomplished with the TCF-S.

It takes about 45 lbs of counter weights to balance the scope with the UTA, camera and cables.   This was accomplished with two 2' length of 2" steel round stock for roughly 40 lbs and one 2' length of 1" steel round stock for roughly 5 lbs.
